Egyptian Drug Authority #EDA established a unified "Single Source of Truth" through the National Central Registry, the authority ensures a level playing field for all market participants.


🌍 Global Alignment for Market Integrity

To ensure seamless integration with international supply chains and "Global Hubs," the EDA’s national identifiers refer directly to worldwide standards:


Location Identifier = which refer to GLN (Global Location Number) in another national hubs : A 13-digit permanent key used to uniquely identify legal entities and physical sites.


Product Identifier = which refer to GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) in another national hubs : A 14-digit identifier for every unique product and packaging level.
