Here is the framework:
Identify: Serialization is just a unique ID for every product.
Connect: Aggregation is about building the "Business Tree." You need to know exactly which unit is in which carton, and which carton is on which pallet.
Govern: GS1 Standards are the "Constitution" we live by.
Communicate: Information moves through EPCIS files. (CSV for Phase 1 ).
The Mindset: It all starts and ends with AIDC (Automatic Identification and Data Capture).
