Today we have around 9 African countries that reached ML3 on the World Health Organization(WHO) GBT maturity model.
And in parallel,around 10 countries have publicly announced Track & Trace implementation plan by 2025.
it’s the level where you see African authorities actually have the ability to enforce to control their market and move forward more regulated markets.
All these efforts, because the reality on the ground is tough, Africa alone carries around 42% of the global falsified medicines burden(according to WHO).
The continent is moving into structured, ML-driven controlled markets.
